Entry 33 - Katherine Cordy
The first 2 were taken in my local Morrisons before they opened for trading.
The others were taken at the Doctor Who exhibtion in Cardiff and around Cardiff Bay. My spare flyer is in my car. Its on display 24/7 as i park in a public car park for work and I live on a main road!
Entry 32 - Captain Jack and York by Angela Beddows
I left the second flyer amongst the pamphlets of York attractions in one of the Tourist Information places, just to confuse people. *cackles evilly*
Jack gets ready for the competition
National Railway Museum in York. I was hoping to take it on the famous locomotive the Flying Scotsman (i thought it'd be a good pun) but as you can see, it's gone in for repair! *is foiled*
York City Walls built in Roman times.
Well with Aladdin being set in China, it's just a bad pun on the great wall of China I suppose. D'oh!
Propping up Clifford's Tower. Just me messing about coz I was too tired to slog up the steps and chuff up 3 quid for a photo from the top of Cliffords Tower (again in York).
Also from the walls, but this time I managed to get one of York Minster too and more amazingly I managed to get a snapshot without all the bits that were scaffolded up coz it's falling apart!
Entry 31 - Salena Roper
Yes, a red phone box may not seem very special in the UK, but I took this in Los Angeles! It's outside a restaurant called the Tam O'Shanter which is famous as a legendary American talk show host, Johnny Carson, used to have lunch here nearly every day when he taped his show, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.
I left the second flyer on a bulletin board at Runyon Canyon Park in the Hollywood Hills. It's a very popular hiking trail mainly because you are allowed to have your dog off-leash there. I felt it was appropriate since there are lots of dogs and lots of celebrities who use the trails every day and the panto competition is of course for the benefit of a dog charity.
Thank you for the running the competition. We have had fun looking for places to take pictures. The flyers have been taken all over the place!
