Entry 30 - Jessica
The gold man appearing to be holding the poster,is the original statue from the film,'The Gladiator', starring 'Russell Crowe'.
The statue is situated at a Leisure Lakes, near Southport,Merseyside.
We had a bit of a crowd gathering when we took the photos, wondering what we were doing, and why. Some of the crowd ,adults as well as children, were saying, 'Is that Captain Jack from Torchwood and Dr Who in panto? Some people even wrote down the details from the flyer!
Jessica very reluctantly left the second flyer on the foot of the statue!
Entry 29 - Berlin, Berlin! by Iris
I left the spare flyer at the Berlin Wall (with permission "Make your sign") and the second one I placed in my car window where many people will notice it. (And it lights up my day all the time I have to drive somewhere! :D)
Leftovers from the Berlin Wall
You are entering the American Sector. Here was once the "Checkpoint Charlie".
The Trabant, the car people drove in the GDR. Nowadays it's a tourist attraction to book Trabbi-Safaris
More American Sector memories. The two fake American Officers want to see the Panto, too.
I always suspect there's a Torchwood Outpost underneath Potsdamer Platz, it's a strange location... And a perfect place for Captain Jack and his team - there are strange alien-looking devices all over the place.
Here's one of those strange devices, or is it - could it be...? Aladdin? We've found the lamp for you!
Television Tower and Rotes Rathaus (Red Town Hall)
Brandenburg Gate
Entry 28 - Deborah
Thank you for the running the competition. We have had fun looking for places to take pictures. The flyers have been taken all over the place!
The Adelphi Theatre with Lee Mead looking very interested in what his former judge is up to now!
Harbourside Park in Poole, Dorset. Thought the dog theme was appropriate and at least one seagull was very interested in seeing John in pantomime :)
