In the summer of 2002, John played the role of Bobby, in Stephen Sondheim's Company. Company, was part of six show extravaganza at the Kennedy Center in Washinton, D.C.
The following fall, on October 21st, John along with cast members of all six productions came to Lincoln Center in NYC, to perform selections from each show.
Alice Ripley, who played Amy in Company, reprised (along with Matt Bogart (Paul) and Emily Skinner (Jenny) and John (Bobby) her show-stopping rendition of Not Getting Married Today.
John came back to give his 11'oclock, thrilling version of Being Alive.
